Teen Top

If there's a group that has been overplayed in my playlist, this is one of it :D

Chunji and his wink. #facepalm the dance is hot too! And, seriously, sometimes their stylist really needs to be shot. The dude with red hair's perm is like.. I dunno man.

Just downloaded it, and played it for 58 times. God, I'm crazy. :P

I actually want shoes for my birthday. Ahahaa. But that ain't coming true cuz there's a chinese saying that if you give shoes to someone as a birthday gift, it isn't a good omen. Direct translation from cantonese is like, sighing. And apparently that's not good :(

there goes shoes for my birthday.

Loafers. I shall get you one dayy!

Results coming out on the 10th oh doomsdayyy. Anyhoww, what's done is done. Oh and I've dyed my hair, again. Yeahp. Liese Cassis Berry.. a picture some other time? There's not much difference actually, my hair looks more vibrant with a reddish tinge now. :)

but I'm quite sad that the colour wasn't that purplishh =((((

My slow internet is... making me cry.

I don't really get to update much about how I really feel since I reblog pretty much of what I really think and feel in tumblr. click here. It's like some sort of escapism for me. hahaa ain't ditching my blogger though. too much precious memories all up here :)

Right now we only have one car to use cuz sis is driving the avanza :(  and I really dooo want more outings with the loved ones. Sadly, not very possible. :'(

I had loads of fun shopping with Suwen and then my cousin joined a while after. We got lost in Times Square. Half ran to Sg Wang cuz there were people who were over-enthusiastic about promoting stuff. I nearly screwed the person working in snowflake cuz of a wrong order; which nothing changed anyways so really no point arguing. Had crab, fish, veggies, tomyam soup and some yao cha guai with kaya for only rm64. Talked so freaking loud people were looking at us. Experienced Suwen's crazy driving, actually not that crazy la anyways, she just got honked at few times. Not to mention, had her throw random clothes into my fitting room hahaha! Walked until we couldn't walk anymore.

right, now I miss my snowflake.

and movie with the classmates. laughing quite a lot in the cinema hahaha, I wish days like those would come by more often. Makes me miss high school so much right now. All those inside jokes and laughter.

life's pretty good.

:)

especially with the <3 one too.

JUST FOR RAYNE

=P

A little update to satisfy my currently 'nerding' bestfriend RAYNE.

So my exams have ended wheeee like finally. Semester 2 is over and done with just like that. :D

I don't wanna see my results though. I have a feeling that it'll be bad looking at my geog marks wtf. Plus, I screwed up my math paper so there goes 10 marks cuz I drew the wrong graph. =/

I went back to my secondary school to visit haha! Didn't get to talk with most of my classmates but managed to talk to most of my teachers. Talking to them like that is so different than when we're in the classroom =S

I really really do miss school. I took my experiences and time there for granted. Sigh.. but you cannot reverse time :) so I'd better appreciate what I have now too.

Holidayys. And I've got nothing to do.

I shall go read all the untouched magazines on my table.

A proper update next time :)

oops :D

Short update =)

My semester's ending pretty soon. In another 2 weeks time to be exact. It's been quite, mentally and physically demanding. A lot, has happened. It has actually been a while since I've typed out my true honest feelings up here.

because sometimes, your true thoughts are what you keep hidden within your own mind. and I don't think I'm that type of person that can disclose every single thought in my mind to just about anyone.

my bestie, thanks for being there to listen to me that day. I really really do appreciate it and I'm so sorry if you've been worried about me being so withdrawn for the past few weeks. I have... honestly been going almost crazy.

anywayys. I love this song. Makes me cry T_T

im not dead.

Photobucket

im not dead.

just busy..

Quite a lot has been going on for me recently. I doubt everything I am currently doing. The difficult part about growing up is really the uncertainties of the future. I'm reconsidering what I am currently doing.. the thing that makes me sad is that I don't really know what I can do. It is hurtful when people keep asking the same questions over and over again. It is hurtful when people make assumptions based on what they see but you know what? Do you know what someone goes through? You don't. You're not the person. But the sad thing is, everyone assumes things are the way they see it as. I am so upset that sometimes words cannot even express how I feel.

anyway, I screwed my geog test today wtf.
it was.. expected. I hate the sciences, and you get all three elements of biology, chem and physics nicely in one subject whadafak to the max.

4 or 5 more weeks baybehhh I can do it !

Hanoi Trip :))

finally right.. like finally... my Hanoi trip.

Left for the LCCT terminal at 4AM.

I only had 3 hours of sleep so the whole time at the terminal, I slept like a pig. My first time at the international flight area in LCCT. My mom was like damn excited cuz there's so much to see. We had our breakfast at the Chocolate Lounge.

my fair lady hot chocolate :D

Photobucket

and breakfast! the garlic bread is damn nice!

Photobucket

Photobucket

I'm gonna really buy myself a neck pillow! Then I won't end up hurting my neck while sleeping in the plane
(-_-)

Photobucket

Photobucket

the pretty greenland view before landing !

When we arrived at Hanoi, my mom said that we'd have to walk on the ground cuz we took Air Asia. We didn't have to; they had that bridge for us. The funny thing was that the aunty in front of me had the same idea and she was talking about how lousy Air Asia is and everything while I was busy laughing at her.

Okay, not related. Anyway.

Vietnamese people are really really nice and friendly. They're really polite and they almost always have a smile on their face. So different compared to people from China. Seriously.

On our way to the hotel, there was like this ngekkk ngekkk sound coming from the car and our guide had to pull over somewhere because the tyre was punctured. He was so embarrassed, kept on apologizing.

Photobucket

Photobucket

I noticed one thing, the buildings, almost all of them are very short.

The hotel staff greeted us with drinks =)

Photobucket

Photobucket

the girl at the counter in pink is Hng, she's damn friendly. No, actually all the staff are really friendly.

so now show you the room :D

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

In my opinion, it's one of THE best room I've ever been in because for one thing, there was a laptop with internet access, mirrors all around the room for the vain narcissistic people =D and a really nice shower area. Oh, there's a DVD player too!

so when you go to Hanoi, stay at Hanoi Moment Hotel. Very friendly and helpful service from the staff! A nice room, what more can you ask for?

and this is the view from our room..

Photobucket

Photobucket

not much of a view, right? We stayed at the Old Quarter of Hanoi, plenty of shops for you to go in and look around.

So whenever you go to some place new the first thing you'd do is walk the entire area to explore! =D the fun part and also the most frustrating part. We got lost. HAHA! And we had a map to refer to. We practically lost our bearings and the map with super small words was too much to handle for our already sleepy eyes.

One thing to look out for, the people on motors or scooters.
They scoot past you like nobody's freaking business and they do not give way. They scoot around and those cars drive around like the road belongs to their father or something.
And since it was my very first time seeing that sort of road-madness, I nearly nearlyyy got knocked down by a motor. And on one road, you can see the motors and cars going in totally opposite directions wtf.

They can have 4 roads at an intersection and there is no right flow of way when it comes to their directions. All the cars and motorcyclists just go wherever the hell they wanna go and I was damn freaked out. They honk at anyone who gets in their way which is all the time so yeah, the peeet peeet sound annoyed me to the max!

Photobucket

see how crazy it is ?

And this is how everyone eats in Hanoi. Girls and guys sit like gangstas cuz the stools are so short !

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Our first meal in Hanoi!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

candid =D

Photobucket

Pho; pronounced as fur. Looks normal right? But it was damn delicious. We went back there again! Their chilly is damn spicy as well.

We saw customers just walk off after eating without paying so we wondered if we should do the same. We didn't anyway. =)

then we continued walking and walking..

Photobucket

I found their version of a roundabout damn cute. I don't know why..

Photobucket

and 400k VHD fruits! the plums are damn big! 400k = RM64

Photobucket

Walked and got lost several times and we finally got to the lake. It is pretty.. sad looking but anyway! We took photos like a real tourist. and before that we entered some cafe cuz we needed a break from all that torture walking.

Photobucket

vietnamese popiah with pork inside. very niceee but a bit too oily.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

now this is the lake. Hoan Kiem lake

Photobucket

it is not that small.. it is huge.

Photobucket

and we were damn scared of falling into the lake, seriously. You dunno what's in there!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

credits to my awesome cousin Kim, her photography skills :D

Then we forgot how to go back to our hotel, had to take a cab back and afterwards, walked around intending to shop. The problem is that for one thing, the shops around the hotel were mainly wholesalers and you'd have to buy like a lot in order for you to bargain with them for more affordable prices; in other words, tong them kao kao. BUT!

we no speak vietnamese. and they no speak english.

=(

language barrier there..

And my mom had a commotion with the shower in our hotel room, HAHA!
She didn't know what she fiddled with, water started shooting out everywhere in the shower cuz she didn't realise there were holes in the machine. And the water was boiling hot. We had to call the people to come in and help us switch the damn thing off.. it was so funny and embarrassing at the same time. The people just smiled at us (=.=)

we could hear my mom screaming SHITTTTT so loudly in the toilet HAHA!

After resting, we googled places to eat in Hanoi. And we ended up here. Chim Sao. Again, really friendly people but they had this annoying bird that cries like a kid. One of the staff had ice cream and kept asking us if we want some. And they were all more than helpful in trying to teach us a bit of their language and telling us about the food :)

Photobucket

my pretty mama

Photobucket

Photobucket

chestnut, and those squashed thingy tastes quite spicy

Photobucket

the spring roll. I don't like it at all. Seriously, taste damn weird. Fresh spring roll, I still prefer the fried or steamed ones =/  oh oh and the pot of rice you see there, well I didn't know the rice is served that way so when the waiter asked me how many of that I wanted, I told him 3. He gave me a look of shock on his face, and when he brought 3 pots of that... it was our turn to give him a shocked look.

After the super long day, I went back to the room and slept immediately after getting my face done. Seriously tiring.. walked almost the entire day.

Breakfast was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G
The breakfast is made when you order. You get to order anything you like on their menu; sandwiches, omelets and others and each of it tastes really damn good. Best breakfast for me. No wonder people rave about the breakfast and service at the hotel.

Photobucket

Photobucket

salt and pepper. made us laugh for a few minutes.. try figuring it out yourself what it means in cantonese. =)

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

the delicious omelette <33

Photobucket

and their special : Banana Pancake. I do not eat bananas cuz I hate them in general but this... is the only thing with banana that I eat. Looking at it right now makes me want to eat it... T_T

the waiter kept asking if we wanted more food and we're like no thanks we're full and he went it is EAT ALL YOU CAN!

his expression was funny.

We went exploring again after breakfast. Then went into a shop for a massage while I had a facial done. They put some kind of liquid on my face and I felt some burning feeling on my face. Nothing's wrong with my face though.. they're pretty good with doing extractions. Doesn't leave you with any redness on the skin.

Met Gabriel and my aunt back at the hotel. Omg, Gabriel's smile when he saw us was instant. He didn't know we were gonna be here, it's like a surprise for him.

Photobucket

Photobucket

baby is happy that he has coke to drink.

We finally found a place to shop where the prices are cheap. And I had a shock there cuz... I wanted to try on the clothes so I went into the fitting room. The second I entered, I saw girls all, stripping to try the clothes so I quickly went back out.

it's actually normal for them to do so.

Then there was this woman there who talked to me while I was trying on clothing.

Woman: Are you from Korea?
Me: No, Malaysia.
Woman: Malaysia? I LOVE MALAYSIA.

she's the first person whom I talked to that actually knows Malaysia wtf.
oh and yes, everyone here seems to think we're from Korea.

We went crazy buying clothes that my mom and I bought the same clothing in different colours. It was that cheap. And well worth the money since the quality is way better than what you can find here.

Dinner was then at Madame Hien.

Photobucket

see how he tries to entertain himself? hahahaa

now the food :D

Photobucket

Photobucket

this is their steamed rice dumpling. Loved it!

Photobucket

Photobucket

beef kebab. I only tried a little bit, the flavour is really there.

Photobucket

Photobucket

and our dessert. Che.

The staff gave Gabriel a free sorbet ice cream. Again, damn friendly! When my aunt asked them to give Gabriel jasmine tea, they told us that kids in Vietnam don't drink tea. One thing I noticed, the people here in Vietnam are very sai sum ( observant? ). Completely different from what you find in KL thats for sure.

and only on that night we realised that we could take free movies or series to watch in the room.

one of the reception staff even gave Gabriel an Ipad to play with. To take it to the room overnight. Seriously. Why am I not a kid. I want an Ipad to play with also wth.

that's about it for now..

:D
